Sienna Miller has reportedly launched a vicious attack on English people, accusing them of "raping and pillaging" the Welsh.
The Layer Cake actress - who was brought up in England but was born in New York - and lover Rhys Ifans are planning to move to the Notting Hill actor's native Wales after falling in love with the country and learning of its mistreatment at the hands of the English.
She apparently told friends: "I love Wales. I think it is the most beautiful country in the world and the people are just so gracious and lovely considering they have been raped and pillaged by the English for so long."
Sienna and Rhys - who are currently holidaying in Mexico - are looking for cottages in Snowdonia as they have decided that's where they want to settle.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "They have both become increasingly stressed by city life and the attention they get and they want a retreat together where they can read, cook and go for long walks with the dogs.
"They have this idyllic life in their dreams. They have to travel so much with work that having somewhere away from the chaos would be perfect for them."
