Jennifer Aniston has denied she is dating Gerard Butler.
The 41-year-old first sparked rumours she was dating the Scottish actor after they grew close while shooting their movie The Bounty Hunter last year. Gerard recently joined Jennifer and her friends on holiday in Mexico to celebrate the actress' birthday, but she has denied they are in a relationship.
"There are always going to be rumours. I think that is just the formula - they think that if you do a movie together and you get along really well, you must be together," she said.
Jennifer added she is comfortable being single, because she is so happy with her life. She insists the way she is portrayed to the public is vastly different from how she actually is.
"The real me is just extremely happy. I have a very simple life, I have extremely great friends and a really lucky career. There's all this stuff about calculation, that me and Gerry are in a fake relationship for the sake of a movie and that's insulting to me," she told GMTV. "But I'm getting to a better place and understanding that they are just making money."
Jennifer also said revisiting her Friends character Rachel Green for a big-screen version of the hit US TV show would be "fun". "I don't think it would be a bad thing but do you want see a Friends movie? Anything is possible. It has all been rumoured up until now but it would be fun," she said.
