Emma Watson was more nervous about appearing in her university's play than anything else she has done.
The 19-year-old Harry Potter actress stars in one of the biggest film franchises of all time, but was still terrified when she took to the stage in Brown University's production of Anton Chekov's Three Sisters last weekend.
It seems Emma's anxiety was unfounded as her classmates say she put in a "faultless" performance, and she received a standing ovation from the audience.
"Emma was nervous beforehand but was faultless in her role," a source told British newspaper The Sun. "She has been juggling coursework with rehearsals and learning lines so she's had a lot on her plate."
The play was put on by the college's non-profit student theatre group. Tickets were free, but only staff and students were invited to protect Emma from being mobbed by fans. The theatre was full to capacity all three nights of the play, and Emma was thrilled to be so well received.
"Emma was over the moon that every show was a full house," the source added. "She also made some new friends while doing it."
