Quentin Tarantino wants Lady Gaga to star in one of his movies.

The eccentric director has been discussing possible projects with the outrageous singer and is confident he has the perfect role for her to play.

Tarantino is known for making quirky movies filled with bloodthirsty, violent fight scenes such as Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction and most recently Inglourious Basterds. He is now believed to be lining Gaga up to play a cold-hearted hired killer.

"He has already sounded her out on a couple of projects, one of which would see her playing an assassin," a source said.

"Movies would be a huge new venture for Gaga but she's excited at the prospect and Quentin has told her she'd be a natural."

Tarantino and Gaga became friends after the pop star asked to borrow the hot yellow truck which appeared in Kill Bill for her new video. Now Tarantino has told Gaga she owes him a favour and he has decided she is going to be his latest movie muse.

"Quentin is a huge fan of Gaga and loves her whole personality," the source added.
