Lucy Lawless a property princess
Relevant offers
Lovable Lucy Lawless certainly knows how to kick butt, even when it comes to the property market.
The Xena: Warrior Princess star has just sold her five-bedroom house in Los Angeles' Studio City area for an undisclosed amount after it had been listed for $4.8 million.
Insiders say Lucy and hubby, producer Rob Tapert, have had the house on the market for several months, having bought it in late 1998 from writer-producer Miranda Craig for less than half the listing price.
The proud new owners are not celebrities.
Features of the house include seven-and-a-half baths, a two-storey living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, a media room, an eat-in chef's kitchen, and a master suite with a fireplace.
The house was built in 1951.
It's just down the street from one actor Erik Estrada has owned since 1979.
Lucy and Rob are apparently looking to buy a new pad somewhere else in Tinseltown.
