Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar has posed in the buff for a series of advertisements for Vaseline.

The photos show the Buffy the Vampire Slayer star posing in a series of close-ups to promote the classic moisturiser, but the actress is careful not to reveal too much.

The photos follow another set of steamy pics Gellar did for charity.

Gellar helped raise more than $2000 when photos of her taking a little black dress off were auctioned off online to raise money for the Coalition of Skin Diseases in America.

British tabloid The Daily Mail reported Gellar, 30, vowed to never reveal all for any film role.

The Mail said Gellar had 'no nudity' clauses written into her film contracts.

Gellar lost her clean-cut image in the 1999 film Cruel Intentions, when her character shared a steamy lesbian kiss with co-star Selma Blair.

She is married to Freddie Prinze, Jr.
