A Californian air-conditioning repairman has pleaded not guilty to the stabbing deaths of two women, including a former girlfriend of American actor Ashton Kutcher - the husband of Demi Moore.
News agency Associated Press reported Michael Thomas Gargiulo faces two counts of murder and two of burglary in relation to the deaths of Kutcher's 22-year-old girlfriend Ashley Ellerin, and Maria Bruno in Monteray Park.
Ellerin was found dead in February 2001 in her Hollywood Hills home, while Bruno was fatally stabbed in 2005.
Gargiulo, who was arrested in July, has pleaded not guilty.
Kutcher, the star of sitcom That '70s Show and prank show Punk'D, told police he was to pick up Ellerin for a post-Grammy party but she didn't answer the door, AP reported.
A friend discovered her body the next day.
