Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher, who is recovering from a rib injury after being attacked on stage in Canada, once snorted cocaine in Queen Elizabeth's private toilet.
The musician has confessed to snorting the Class A drug at 10 Downing Street when he was invited to a reception by then Prime Minister Tony Blair shortly after he came into power in 1997.
The lavatory, at the British Prime Minister's residence, is reserved exclusively for the ruling monarch, and no one else has permission to enter.
Noel told Russell Brand on his British radio show: "As I remember, it was quite nice. It had a velvet seat and everything.
"She's got her own toilet which no-one else is allowed in. These were the days of the revolution.
"Someone said, 'Do you want to have a look in the queen's bog?’ I said, ‘Of course'."
The musician - who was accompanied by his then wife Meg Matthews to the reception - claims he gave up taking drugs the following year.
Noel, 41, recently admitted he considered using substances again before writing Oasis’ upcoming album Dig Out Your Soul.
He said: "I was on drugs before I was even in a band. The whole of the first three albums were written on drugs. I thought, 'Maybe I should get back into taking drugs, and then it would be brilliant again.’
"But that thought lasts less than a second."
