While it's certainly not the first Gotye parody, and I accept that some of you might have already grown tired of the song that made Kimba known internationally, I will make an exception for this one.
The guys at Teddy Films, who are behind The Star Wars That I Used to Know, are taking Gotye's true feelings of dire heartbreak into an extremely well executed parody and directing them towards George Lucas.
A distraught Darth Gotye laments, "But you didn't have to change it all / Make 'em like they never happened and the fans are nothing / I don't even need your love / But you treat me like a Bantha and that feels so rough."
The video features Tyson Apostal as Darth Gotye, Mike Loveland as George Lucas and vocals by Isreal Curtis and Ryan Richardson.
The lyrics were written by Eddie King, Jeremy Warner and Joseph Winter and the video made by Teddy Films.
