Foul-mouthed TV chef Gordon Ramsay is reportedly considering legal action after it was alleged he had been conducting a seven-year affair with a 'professional mistress'.
Britains Daily Telegraph quoted a source close to Ramsay and his wife of 12 years Tana, as saying they were considering suing tabloid News of the World, which ran the front page allegations.
The Sunday paper ran a story listing explicit details about Ramsay’s affair with Sarah Symonds
Symonds gained a reputation as a "professional mistress" after writing a book called Having An Affair? A Handbook For The Other Woman, following her year-long affair with author and politician Jeffrey Archer.
Ramsay, the star of reality shows The F-Word and Hell's Kitchen has built a reputation as a devoted husband and family man.
He and Tana have four children aged five to nine.
He has previously said his wife is "the only woman who can turn me on ... Tana is my wife, my lover and the person I want in my bed and in my arms every night."
