NEW SERIES: Flight of the Conchords' second season will air in America in January.

The trailer for season two of hit Kiwi comedy show Flight of the Conchords - starring Kiwi comedians Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement - has hit the internet.

The video, which shows McKenzie and Clement driving a car, is being used to promo the second season of Flight of the Conchords, set to air in America on cable network HBO in January.

In it, McKenzie shoots "criminals" while Clement drives the car.

Clement, who tries to talk up their show, is put off by McKenzie's gun, and tells him to "put it in the glove compartment".

"What about the criminals?" asks McKenzie.

"Well they don't like it either," says Clement.
