News hot off the press - divorcee of the moment, wronged American sweetheart and new fashion designer Katie Holmes has been named the face of Bobbi Brown makeup.
This is the first time Bobbi Brown has used a celebrity to front its campaigns, a practice common in the rest of the industry.
The first ads will appear in the northern hemisphere early next year in print, on billboards and in stores.
And of course Holmes will be using Bobbi Brown makeup on her models for the runway debut of her label Holmes & Yang at New York Fashion Week.
"Bobbi is exceptional and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is a company that we, as women, all turn to because it is makeup that is very accessible and makes you feel pretty," she said.
"Sometimes it is just a lipstick or a blush that makes you feel like you can do what you need to do. Makeup is powerful and I am thrilled to be a part of this brand."
