The first full Ab Fab trailer has dropped and it reveals a stunning plotline and perhaps the biggest of all fashion faux-pas.

Yes, Eddie kills Kate Moss. That's a fashion fail, if ever there was one.

Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone get into all sorts of capers in the eagerly anticipated full-length movie of the cult sitcom.

And in an added bonus for Australian fans, Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley will both be heading Down Under for the premiere in August.

First look at Absolutely Fabulous movie

It's Absolutely Fabulous news for filmgoers, darling
Sweetie, darling, filming has begun on the hotly anticipated Absolutely Fabulous film

In the first full clip released Wednesday, it's familiar territory at first for the gruesome twosome, as Edina is seen collapsing out of a cab as she arrives home as daylight breaks, to be greeted by an equally-wrecked Patsy.

Later, it emerges that Kate Moss is on the hunt for a new PR, and as Edina tries to move in on the supermodel at a fashion party, she inadvertently knocks Moss into the Thames. Oops.

"You have killed Kate Moss," admonishes Eddie's daughter, Saffy (Julie Sawalha) in the same tone of exasperation she's been using with her mother throughout the TV series since it began in 1992.

The pair then go on the run on the glitzy French Rivera, before Eddie complains about being "trollied" online.

The film is laden with cameos, including Moss herself, Stella McCartney, Jon Hamm, and Rebel Wilson who appears as an air hostess who Tasers Patsy.

"Cheers," slurs Patsy in response. "You don't get that on British Airways."

Also back are Jane Horrocks as Bubble and June Whitfield as Eddie's mum, as well as series regulars Lulu and Kathy Burke.
