Singer Elaine Paige will perform two concerts in Auckland and Wellington in November to celebrate a legendary career spanning forty years.
She has starred in numerous West End productions and on Broadway, sweeping to fame when she created her award-winning performance as Eva Peron in Evita.
Shortly afterwards she created the role of Grizabella in the original production of Cats and the classic song Memory became one of Elaine's many hit records.
The West End and Broadway star will recreate some of her biggest starring roles with a 12-piece orchestra in a two-hour stage spectacular.
She will perform at the ASB Theatre in Auckland on Friday, November 6 and the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington on Sunday, November 8.
Tickets go on sale on Monday, September 7.

Would love to go and see her in person! I've watched a lot of her old and new performances in YouTube! and I think she's a very hard act to follow for young performers today.
I will definitely go! MFC is a great venue for this - it will be amazing!
I wonder if she will sing any Susan Boyle numbers...
Certainly planning on being there but the ticket cost will be the decider. My 65th birthday party on the Saturday and this concert on the Sunday - what a weekend!
If I can convince my husband to come I will be there! Love her amazing voice!!
I would love to go, but depends on ticket prices. A singer is one thing, a storyteller is another. She is the latter. I saw the WIUO at the Michael Fowler Centre, it's a lovely venue!
Not to be missed. She is an extraordinary stage presence and knows how to sell a song, tell a story - not just sing it. I will be there
I will certainly be going have always loved Elaine Paige and can't wait to see her in person her voice is amazing and have watched all her live shows on TV and video.

These concerts are amazing, I've seen several in the UK and just wish I could afford to fly over - I'd willingly fly to NZ just to see her again and then fly home - even with two concerts it'd be more time travelling than actually in NZ but worth it! Go if you able!
