Does your family enjoy books? How do you compare to a family of bookworms who have borrowed a staggering 2044 library books in the past year?
Mum Sue Braggins, 49, says her family of 12 now consider Wainuiomata Library "a second home". They average six books a day.
Mrs Braggins is not surprised, saying the whole family are voracious readers.
Her love of reading came from her parents, she says, and it was something she wanted to pass on to her 11 children.
"I was brought up on books from the time I was little. I can't remember not having a book to read. The school system was also very book-orientated back then."

What did you expect when you decided to read this story? A reason to complain?
Oh my, it must be a slow news day. 1st a MP complaining about noisey toddlers on a plane and now people who read a lot. I think I'll go look up the overseas papers might be something to actualy read and ponder.
That is simply great. Those eleven children will not only grow up literate they also be introduced to the super services i.e. databases libraries also provide for little or no cost. They will be the multi format kids of the 21st century this country needs.
What a great mum.
Gosh. We have rented over 500 DVDs from the video shop in the last year - does that mean we will get in the news? Some of the DVDs could be considered quite educational!
Well would ya look at that! woo!
I had trouble returning the one book I borrowed last year on time - with 2,425,163 or how many books they borrowed... I would own the Library in overdue fines.
Well it's better than killing people i guess.
