Solange 'could cash in after Jay Z fight'
Solange Knowles has reportedly been offered money to spill the beans on her argument with Jay Z.
The American star was involved in an altercation with her sister Beyoncé's husband as they left the Met Ball in May.
Leaked footage of Solange attacking Jay in an elevator, while a security guard tried to hold her back, was circulated last month. Beyoncé was also in the elevator at the time of the outburst.
"Solange has always been in the background while Beyoncé has been the golden girl," an insider told British newspaper Daily Star. "She's sick of feeling she's being held down and she's ready to fight back.
"Jay and Bey might not like her spilling their ¬secrets in a tell-all book but she believes that might be what it takes to secure her financial future."
After the attack, Solange deleted photos of her and big sister Beyoncé from her Instagram account.
The family released a statement saying they had moved on from the incident, and that their fans should do the same.
"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," the statement read.
"At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."
While no comment has been made over Solange's potential financial gains, Beyoncé may be pleased to hear she has a fan in fellow pop star Lily Allen.
Admitting that she has a slight crush on the Crazy In Love singer, Allen even laughed that she could imagine what their children would like together.
"I'd turn for Beyoncé. I think our kids would look really good together," Allen giggled.
