Justin Bieber is unharmed after being involved in a car crash.

The 20-year-old singer was involved in an accident outside Mastro's Steak House in Beverly Hills on Tuesday afternoon (local time).

His black Cadillac Escalade was struck by a black BMW SUV on the right side, but Justin escaped without injury.

"Justin was only a passenger, not the driver, and he was not hurt," a source told MailOnline. "He is doing just fine."

Pictures of the accident show Bieber's vehicle was struck towards the rear.

According to TMZ, Bieber was trying to avoid photographers at the time of the accident as one was following him. His car was going fairly fast, which the BMW didn't realise when it pulled out. It struck the singer's car, with claims Bieber quickly got out and clambered into another vehicle and being driven away.

The Canadian heartthrob was pictured climbing into the other car in a grainy image which appears to show him covering his head with black material. He was wearing a black T-shirt and loose-fitting trousers with bright white trainers.

This is the latest in a long line of incidents involving Bieber. He has been accused of causing US$20,000 of damage to his neighbour's home by pelting it with eggs and was arrested for DUI while in Miami earlier this year.

His love-life has also seen him hit the headlines and he's though to have reunited with his old flame Selena Gomez lately.
