Shane Warne has denied kissing Sophie Monk, but the radio DJ says she doesn't lie.

Monk was tricked into admitting she had kissed the former Australian cricketer when being quizzed about her love life by her 2DayFM co-hosts.

But Warne says it is not true, and he has confirmed he is dating 30-year-old model Emily Scott.

Monk's co-host, Jules Lund asked the radio DJ about her dinner date with the cricketer during their Thursday show.

"You went out to dinner with him in London ... you know you kissed him," Lund teased his co-host.

"Wait, how do you know that?" Monk responded.

"How did you know I kissed him?"

After questioning his co-host, Lund admitted he was only bluffing.

"I don't know if you kissed him; I'm just making it up, but you just admitted to it," Lund told Monk.

The alleged kiss and dinner date occured late last month while 34-year-old Monk was in Britain to interview pop star Miley Cyrus.

After the catch-up, the cricketing spin king headed to Paris for a whirlwind trip with Emily Scott, before they headed to Las Vegas for a holiday with the 44-year-old's children.

When Warne appeared on the Kyle and Jacki O Show on Kiis 106.5 on Friday morning, he was shocked when the radio hosts brought up the kiss.

"I think Sophie mentioned on her radio show that you guys had hooked up," Kyle Sandilands told Warne.

"What," Warne exclaimed.

"No, that's not true; we've been friends for ages," Warne said.

Earlier in the interview, Warne talked about his relationship with Scott, confirming they are an item.

"Yes, Emily is my girlfriend," Warne said.

"She's met my parents, met the children, we hung out in Vegas ... she was fantastic with the children. She's been cool. She's a really cool girl. We are going great," the former cricketer and poker player said.

"We're having a great time. She's been fantastic."

After Warne's radio interview, Monk took to Twitter to declare she is not a liar.

"My biggest flaw is I don't ever lie," Monk tweeted on Friday.

Monk, who previously dated Cameron Diaz's new boyfriend, Benji Madden, then retweeted a cryptic message about lying.

"@guyemartin: @sophiemonk a wise person once told me "you have to have a good memory to be a lier'' (sic).

"Ha that's why I don't #GoldFish," Monk wrote in reply.

In the past month, Warne has posted many photographs of Scott.

He posted a sweet picture of her DJing on Friday, captioning the image "Missing my GF".

He earlier regrammed a hot photo Scott posted of herself dressed in a black leather-look mini dress after a night of fun in Vegas.

He has also posted photographs of the two together at various events.

Warne's previous relationship was with Elizabeth Hurley, which the pair called off late last year.

After ending his engagement to the British actress and model, Warne seemed to be happy with single life.

He told Kyle and Jackie O on their radio show in May that he was not in a rush to date.

"I haven't been on one date yet," he told the radio hosts. "I just haven't moved on like some."

Since their separation, Hurley, 48, has dated business tycoon David Yarrow.
