You all seem to be quite happy to 'twitter' away on the comments page...
great article. insightful and well researched. who says New Zealand journalism isn't the best in the world.
Bravo, sir.
oh poor jess not too happy huh?funny how your emotions are getting stirred up on this page.I just came on here to see what this new craze was about.I didnt want to offend you jess but i havent joined twitter maybe i should and we can be Best friends forever!you sound like your a great big ball of fun..HAHA
So all these celebs are happy to twitter endless nonsense about whether they are about to have a pooh or going jetskiing. I suppose they won't complain when people expect to be able to have instant access to them whenever it suits them - whoops that would be invasion of privacy.
Can't have it both way people....
Twitter is great for staying in touch with friends, building networks of like-minded people, but following celebrities is ridiculous. It's not like you have any connection with them, or they will reply to anything you say and listening to their inane chatter makes you realise how exceedingly stupid they are. Better to hold onto your illusions.
This is the worst daily feature idea I have ever heard. Please, don't.

It seems certain workplaces are obsessed with Twitter also. My boyfriend ordered a tshirt from http://www.mrvintage.co.nz over a week ago and they still haven't sent it to him, and they've ignored all his emails asking what's going on. Yet they have plenty of time to Twitter back and forth with E Grade kiwi 'celebs'.
Strange.
