Raunchy new images of pop star Britney Spears have been published online by a British tabloid.
The 17 photos were allegedly taken during a video shoot in 2007 for Spears' single Gimme More, and show the chart-topping singer topless and writhing around a pole while covered in fake tattoos.
British tabloid News of the World published the pics, and said it was the first time topless snaps of the star had been seen.
Rolling Stone magazine said the photos were video stills and most likely legitimate outtakes from the shoot, as the official video shows Spears in less-risque nude cutaway scenes.
The video was a comeback for Spears, who was in the middle of a troubled period of her life. Four days before the Gimme More video debuted, she lost custody of her sons.
The 27-year-old is in the middle of a European tour, and has just announced six tour dates in Australia.
