Pop star Pink is filing for divorce from her husband Carey Hart after two years of marriage, the pop star's publicist has confirmed.
"Pink and Carey Hart have separated," publicist Michele Schweitzer told People.com. "This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another.
The pair are still friends, Schweitzer said.
"While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."
Pink, 28, met Hart, 32, at the 2001 X Games, where Hart was performing as a motorcross racer. They married in 2006 in Costa Rica.
The pair had denied recent reports that their relationship was on the rocks.
