Please sleep with me, Britney

Comedian Russell Brand begs to sleep with Britney Spears in a promo for MTV’s Video Music Awards.
The British comic star, who is presenting the ceremony for the second year in a row, attempts to seduce the Womanizer singer via telepathy in the short clip.
He says: "Britney, this is the voice of your mind ... go to Russell's hotel room and abandon yourself. Give yourself to him, Britney. Sleep with Russell!"
At the start of the promo, Britney is seen standing by a swimming pool clad in a skimpy white bikini and black hat.
The 27-year-old singer is deep in thought, and viewers hear what is running through her mind.
She says: "I wonder if he'll invite me. I mean, I can obviously get an invite, but it would be nice for Russell to invite me personally now that we're friends and all."
At the same time, Russell is seen fretting about the upcoming show.
He says: "I hope I didn't balls it up with her last time. Some of those things I said could have been construed as offensive. I hope she don't think ill of me."
The promo then flashes back to Britney, who is chewing her nail and wondering: “Should I have played it up more when he was flirting with me last year? I have to admit there is something sexy about his dangerous ways.”
Russell suddenly realises he can hear what Britney is thinking, and wonders if she is also privy to his musings.
He then decides to test out his hunch, and asks her to come to his room.
This is not the first time the pair have starred in a promo for the music awards show.
Last year, Russell quizzed Britney in a short clip, alongside an elephant which neither of them seemed to notice.
The animal was a reference to the phrase "“the elephant in the room" - meaning an obvious subject which people don’t discuss to avoid offending people - in this case meaning the breakdown Britney suffered at the beginning of 2008.
The VMAs take place in New York on September 13.
