Kristen Bell loves having "snuggle parties" with Dax Shepard.
The Couples Retreat actress, who has been dating Dax for almost two years, revealed the secrets to a successful relationship are lengthy hugs, playing board games and honesty.
She told Women's Health magazine: "It's important to talk about your deepest, darkest fears and feelings. Your partner should hear your most embarrassing insecurities, because once you say them out loud, you've created a safe zone. A snuggle party can fix anything - it's true.
"There is almost nothing, barring a natural disaster, that I would let eat into my time at home, playing Scrabble with Dax."
Kristen admits dating a fellow comic star can be difficult as she often competes with Dax to prove who is funnier.
The 29-year-old actress, who stars alongside Dax in new movie When in Rome, said: "We were trying to one-up each other. That's what we do at home, too. It's like, 'Wait - watch me do this funny bit.' 'No, watch me do this funny bit!' "
