Joel Madden has denied reports he has married Nicole Richie.
The Good Charlotte rocker - who has two children, 21-month-old Harlow and six-week-old Sparrow with the reality TV star - insists claims the couple wed in a secret ceremony are false.
He said on his band's website: "I keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding. NO we didn't get married."
Last week it was claimed the pair had secretly tied the knot in an intimate service after obtaining a marriage licence.
Speculation has been growing since Nicole and Joel registered Sparrow's birth.
Nicole, 28, has previously said she was keen to wed rocker Joel, 30, following the death of her ex-fiance DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, in August.
Meanwhile, she has spoken of her joy at adding to her family and says she's never been so content.
Nicole said: "I couldn't be happier. The only thing you want is for your kids to be healthy and happy, and they are. I'm right where I belong."
