What the Kiwi gossip mags say

Guys, lock up your girlfriends, get out some garlic and wrap a scarf tightly around your neck - teen Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson is coming to town.
Woman's Day reports the actor - who is rumoured to be dating his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart - will be in New Zealand to film parts of the movie Unbound Captives, a $125 million film also starring Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz.
No date for the film was mentioned, but WD reports the movie could further strain his relationship with Stewart. Having hundreds of Kiwi girls lusting after you would do that.
"She was sitting in his lap one day on set," a source working on the third part of the film's trilogy, Eclipse, told WD. "A person turned a corner and they separated because they didn't want to get caught."
Probably just as well. Kissing with fangs can't be easy.
Elsewhere, if you've been forced to cancel your yearly overseas holiday because of the current economic climate, don't worry - Amber Peebles and Brooke Howard Smith are living it up on your behalf.
WD has a sickeningly sunny three-page spread on the A-list couple as they capped their recent wedding with a five-star honeymoon, spending three weeks in a hilltop village on Italy's Amalfi Coast.
The couple spent their time sunbathing, relaxing, taking boat tours - and arguing about what type of fruit their hotel smelled of.
"Everything in our room was (Italian luxury brand) Bulgari - the slippers, the soap, even the toilet paper," says Amber about their accommodation. "And the whole hotel smelt like peach."
Smith: "It smelt like passionfruit and we will fight that until the day we die."
Don't worry, they recovered from the stress of that argument with several nights in the Cook Islands.
Meanwhile, New Idea has the exclusive first pics of Mel "Octodad" Gibson's eighth child and first with Oksana Grigorieva, a girl given the surprisingly plain name Lucia.
"She looks like both of us," says Oksana. "(Mel) is great with children. If I can put it in one word - kindness. He understands the dynamic of parenthood and he truly loves children."
Anyone else hanging out for the reality show, Octomum meets Octodad?
If you're looking for a reason to pick up Woman's Weekly, the celebrity Halloween photos might do the trick. Especially if you want to see Gwen Stefani dressed as a cowgirl, Heidi Klum and Seal acting up as brids, Kelly Osbourne wearing an egg and - worst of all - Perez Hilton as Lady Gaga.
Ow. My eyes.
Finally, the quote of the week comes from Rihanna, who has finally opened up about her relationship with abusive ex Chris Brown: "I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears."
If anyone else is suffering from that recurring dream, book in to see a psychotherapist, pronto.

When is he coming to New Zealand? And where will they be shooting? I want to see him. I know he is scheduled to be appearing at the premiere of New Moon, so will he be coming here to film Unbound Captives after that? or will they be shooting in Argentina first??
