Charlie Sheen's wife has told Aspen police the actor pinned her to a bed, put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her after she said she wanted a divorce.
An arrest warrant affidavit released Monday quotes Brooke Mueller Sheen as saying the actor told her, "You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I'll kill you."
The affidavit says Charlie Sheen denied threatening her with a knife.
Sheen was arrested on Christmas Day on suspicion of menacing, second-degree assault and criminal mischief.
The 44-year-old Charlie Sheen, star of TV's Two and Half Men and son of actor Martin Sheen, is free on $8500 bond. His lawyer and his agent didn't immediately return calls on Monday.
In a 911 call released on Monday, a woman who identifies herself as Sheen's wife says she feared for her life.
