Glamour model Katie Price, one of the most enduring fixtures of Britain's tabloid newspapers, has married cage fighter and Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex Reid, her publicist confirmed.
The couple, who have been dating for several months, tied the knot in a "private, simple ceremony" in Las Vegas on Tuesday, he added in a statement.
"We are very much in love and look forward to the future together," the couple said.
"We can't wait to get back and celebrate our marriage with our friends and family who we know fully support our wishes."
They reportedly celebrated their wedding at a strip club after the 22-minute ceremony, where they watched pole dancers before returning to their $10,000-a-night penthouse honeymoon suite at the Wynn Hotel.
Price, 31, who is also known as Jordan in the media, was married to the singer Peter Andre before they split last year, and she has three children.
As well as publicity deals, Price has turned her celebrity into cash in other ways, endorsing lingerie and perfume and writing novels, children's books and autobiographies.
Reid is best known for appearing in the latest series of the Celebrity Big Brother show in Britain and, against the odds, emerging as the winner.
The publicist added: "Their decision to marry has not been made with any pre-conceived commercial plan or media deal in place, and their reason for getting married is purely down to their love for each other."
Meanwhile, Andre burst into tears on live television after he was shown footage of Dwight Yorke - Price's ex-boyfriend - discussing his seven-year-old son Harvey, who Andre wanted to adopt when he was with Price.
Andre - whose adoption plans were branded disrespectful by Dwight - told Sky News presenter Kay Burley: "The bottom line is this. I love that child. I see that child and to me, a nice little thank you would be nice. I asked to adopt him because I love him. I didn't ask to adopt him to be disrespectful.
"Why is that disrespectful because I ask to look after someone's child? I thought that was a good thing."
Burley then suggested that Price's new husband might want to take on his two children, Junior, four, and Princess Tiaamii, two.
A tearful Andre, 36, said: "No one is going to take my kids away from me and I will fight to the death for that. Nobody is going to take my children away from me. I will go to court. I don't want to talk about this."
As he tried to regain his composure Andre asked Burley to stop the interview.
