Lindsay Lohan has posed as Jesus for the front cover of a fashion magazine.

The 23-year-old Hollywood actress graces the front of edgy French publication Purple dressed in a plunging long-sleeved white outfit with her arms outstretched, in a pose resembling Jesus' crucifixion.

Lindsay also wears a headdress which looks like a crown of thorns for the shots, which were taken by Gucci photographer Terry Richardson.

Lindsay wears a variety of different designer clothes for the photographs inside the publication, including Zac Posen and Alexander McQueen.

She also poses in Emmanuel Ungaro, the label for which she is the artistic director.

The last time Lindsay appeared in the magazine she posed for topless shots. In the steamy pictures she was seen simulating sex with both a man and a woman.

#27 Tasmyn I agree with you. It goes without saying that we hope she and all of us choose the obvious way that sets her spirit free!

As a Christian, I find this encouraging for Lohan. Up until now she has displayed a behavoiur that had strongly indicated a hedonistic attitude, but the selection of Christ as her model to copy indicates a deep inner belief that she probably doesn't even realise at this stage. There are usually two ways that people gravitate towards after reaching this point of openly denigrating Our Lord and Saviour....one is self destruction, or they accept the truth within and convert to Christianity

I would have thought this would have been in 'Oddstuff' rather than 'Life and Style', since Lohan is more than a little 'odd'

lmules #11 judging from your obvious sarcasm I can tell that you are already an atheist. Its comments like yours that keeps my faith in Christianity :)

If this is a NEWS headline then it must be a slow day

The only interesting and unsurprising thing I find about this article is that Lohan attempts to insult Christians by mocking Christ. It would have been a very dangerous option if she'd unwittingtly chosen to insult Muslims by mocking Mohammed. I'll give her credit for having more intelligence that what I would have guessed

James - do you really think she actually looks like that? It's wonderful what computers and cameras can do!

Enigma   #21   01:18 pm Feb 10 2010

I always wonder what is it that so many find so attractive about Lindsay? Surely it's not her looks or her talent... so what is it? Scandal? Fame? I also wonder how does someone like her achieves fame.
