David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly trying for another baby.
The soccer player was devastated when he snapped his Achilles tendon last weekend, ruling him out of the 2010 World Cup.
To help him deal with his disappointment, David and Victoria have reportedly set their sights on a new goal – a little sister for their three sons, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, seven, and five-year-old Cruz.
"This injury is a nightmare for David, but he is not the kind of man to buckle under the strain," a friend told British newspaper The Daily Star.
"He knows some good must come out of it. A baby girl would make their family complete. They are both so excited and have decided: 'Let’s go for it!'"
The source says the couple will start trying to get Victoria pregnant as soon as he is released from a sports injury clinic in Turku, Finland.
Victoria, 35, flew from Los Angeles to Finland last night for a tearful reunion with David, 34. Hospital sources reveal the couple had an "emotional" meeting at David’s bedside just hours after the sportsman had surgery on his injured tendon.
"David's eyes lit up when Victoria arrived,” the insider told British newspaper The Sun. "It was a very emotional moment when they met. She gave him a massive hug and kiss.
"David is over the moon Victoria has dropped everything to get to him. It has made him realise what really matters in life, and though he wants to go back to football his family is most important for him. He would give up everything for his wife and kids."
