Kendra Wilkinson is desperate to stop the release of her sex tape, which is scheduled for the end of the month.
Earlier this week, it was reported a raunchy video featuring the former Playboy playmate and an unnamed man had surfaced.
The tape was recorded before Kendra met her now-husband Hank Baskett. Her representative has confirmed it does exist, and has said Kendra's team are working on stopping it being made public.
Vivid Entertainment has confirmed they have the "hardcore footage", insisting they will be making it available later this month.
"We know that Kendra has millions of fans and we feel that it's rare to find well-produced, hardcore footage of a star of her magnitude," co-founder of the company Steven Hirsch said in a statement.
"The tape was brought to us by a third party and after consulting with our attorneys, we are confident in our right to distribute it. We've been trying to reach Kendra but have so far been unsuccessful. We therefore made the decision to release Kendra Exposed to stores across the country by the end of May. We believe this could be our all time best selling celebrity tape."
Vivid Entertainment has previously released sex tapes featuring Kim Kardashian and Pamela Anderson.
Reports claim Kendra's lawyer Yael E. Holtkamp has written to the company telling them to "cease and desist" making the footage public.
"The video is private and highly confidential taken for private use and not for public disclosure," a letter to Vivid Entertainment apparently reads. "Any exploitation of the video would be a gross violation of Miss Wilkinson's constitutional and common law rights of privacy."
Kendra, 24, has not publicly commented on the tape, but her representative has asked for her privacy to be respected as she deals with the situation.
