Prince William and his girlfriend Kate Middleton are "living like a married couple" in Wales.
The British royal has been dating the pretty brunette for around nine years and the couple have been constantly subjected to speculation about when they will wed.
William is currently training with the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue squad in Anglesey, North Wales, and Kate has relocated to be with him.
The pair, who met at university in Scotland, are believed to be enjoying living in the remote location away from the public spotlight.
"Everything I'm told from their friends is that they love the fact that their life is so uncomplicated. They're pretty much living as a married couple," royal correspondent Katie Nicholl told Grazia magazine.
"Kate is very much the mothering type. When William was training in Lincolnshire he would call her when he was half an hour from Clarence House and she would run him a bath and cook him a meal. She really looks after him and she's doing the same in Wales."
It has also been claimed their engagement is a "done deal" and Kate and William have spoken about when to announce their plans to wed. However, as the future king of England, 28-year-old William is under pressure to think carefully before he makes their engagement official.
"I'm told William met with Kate's mother and assured her Kate was The One and it was going to happen, but that royal engagements are not like any other engagements," Nicholl added.
"It's a case of timing and the circumstance needs to be absolutely right. So there is an agreement in place. From what they've been told, as far as Kate's friends are concerned, she and William are engaged.
"They both know that as soon as the engagement is made official, life will change forever, especially for Kate."
It has been reported wedding venues have already been looked at and suitable dates are being considered for the nuptials. It is believed William will propose to Kate with a ring which belonged to his late mother Diana.
"If you look historically, the tendency is to use a family heirloom and it is usually something pretty spectacular. Diana left a huge amount of jewellery to William for that purpose," Nicholl explained.
