Angelina Jolie wants her kids to think she only appears in cartoons.

The actress raises six children with her partner Brad Pitt - Maddox, eight, Pax, six, Zahara, five, four-year-old Shiloh and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

They regularly come to visit her on set, but are yet to see any of her or Brad's films. As there are racy scenes in many of the movies Angelina has starred in, she is yet to decide when she will let them watch them.

The star voices a character in animated movie Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom, which is slated for release next year. She is looking forward to it coming out as she wants to take her kids along and see their reactions.

"The oldest ones know what I do, but they aren't that interested yet," she explained in an interview with Look magazine. "Both Brad and I have animated films coming out this year, so we'll start there. Let them think we just do cartoons."

Angelina knows people don't expect her to star in animations, but she insists they are perfect for her. She likes to challenge herself, and says the only films she might struggle to make are comedies.

"Personally, I think I'm very goofy," she said. "I probably laugh more than people imagine. But I don't think I'd be very good in comedy, I might be better as the straight man."
