Courtney Love has begged her estranged daughter to come home now that she is 18 years old.
The 46-year-old Hole rocker was banned from contacting Frances Bean Cobain, her daughter with late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, last year after the teenager took out a restraining order against her mother. The reason for the court order is not known, but legal papers revealed Frances has requested to be removed from Courtney's custody.
The teenager went to live with her paternal grandmother and has had a strained relationship with her mother since.
Frances turned 18 on Wednesday and is no longer covered by the guardianship the court put in place. Courtney hopes she will now "snap out" of the mood that made her leave, and return to live with her in her New York home.
"just come home,. it took a year but i got the sickest townhouse in the village, theres 4 floors, just come home, i pray to god snap out ofit (sic)," Courtney wrote on her Twitter page.
"happy 18th. hard day for me. well i long for your kiss and your sweet head smell i long for you i ache for you, i die for you every day my heart breaks for you, sowrong (sic)."
Courtney went on to apologise to Frances for not doing more to protect the trust fund left for her by her father. Courtney has been accused of taking money from the account, but she claims it has been stolen by unnamed parties.
She told Frances she wished she had married a banker so she had someone she trusted to keep an eye on the fund.
"i shouldve hooked up in some loveless marriage to a powerful hedgefund guy then youd be safe, im sorry i didnt. for your sake.i love you (sic)," Courtney wrote.
"i love you little bean, but please stop this madness over so much more money than your little self can comprehend its taken years but its finally in the right hands things happen for a reason. i feel you missing me and i miss you too (sic)."
