John Mayer has seemingly confirmed he is dating Jennifer Aniston again.
The musician and actress had an on/off relationship during 2008 and into 2009, but eventually split in March of that year. Jennifer did not discuss the reasons the romance didn't work, but it was widely reported she did not like the way John spoke so openly about their relationship.
He later confirmed she was unimpressed with his use of social networking website Twitter.
There have been rumours the pair are an item once again recently, and John appeared to confirm them during a concert at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this week. "I believe in second chances! You might have been a pain in the a*s the last time around, but you can still start over again from home base," he told the 18,000-strong audience.
"Next time you get a text from the one you love just text back 'come over' - no matter what happened in the past. If you really love someone, just tell them and be with them."
There are conflicting reports about whether Jennifer was in the crowd, with some insisting she was there dressed in a black jumper and with her hair tied back.
In an interview earlier this year, John called Jennifer the most "communicative, sweetest, kindest person" he had ever met. In a discussion with a separate publication, he spoke of how hard he found it to cope without her once the relationship ended.
"It was one of the worst times of my life," he said. "I have this weird feeling, a pride thing, for the people I've had relationships with."
