Lily Allen has shown off her growing baby bump at a film premiere in London.
The singer announced she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Cooper last month. The pair are ecstatic about becoming parents, but Lily has kept a low-profile since revealing the news.
She decided to step out at the debut of new film Tamara Drewe in Leicester Square last night to support her mother Alison Owen, who produced the movie. Lily wore a full-length black dress with a flowery trim, and proudly posed for pictures with her hands around her full tummy.
"It's ELLE magazine's 25th birthday issue this month. There's a party to celebrate but I can't go. Sorry ELLE :(," she wrote on her Twitter page earlier in the day. "Its the premiere for my mum's film Tamara Drewe, so I'm going there instead (sic)."
Lily also stood for photographs with her mother, who wore a tight-fitting purple frock to the event.
Tamara Drewe stars Gemma Arterton as the title character who arrives back to her childhood home in the countryside only to discover its being put on the market. The movie is based on a series of cartoons published in British newspaper The Guardian, and also features Dominic Cooper as a rock star.
Gemma arrived at the premiere wearing a flowing cream dress, and admitted she was initially unsure whether to take the part.
"I didn't actually want to play Tamara when I first read it because I didn't like her," she explained.
"She's a femme fatale but she's really lost, she's desperate, she's a very modern woman. I know a lot of women like Tamara Drewe. It's good to play people that you don't understand originally because you have to work out why they do the things that they do."
