Jake Gyllenhaal says posing for nude pictures with Anne Hathaway was nothing compared to their upcoming film Love & Other Drugs.

The pair play lovers in the movie, which tells the story of a free-spirited woman named Maggie and a charming pharmaceutical sales rep named Jamie.

As a result of the plot, 29-year-old Jake and 28-year-old Anne appeared in numerous steamy clinches which they chose to recreate for the front cover of magazine Entertainment Weekly magazine.

At a New York screening of the movie Jake described the shoot and why it brought back fond memories.

"We only do a little hugging on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, but we do a little bit more in the movie... it was a great photoshoot," Jake said of his steamy new cover with Anne. "It brought us back to last year when we were actually naked much more often together."

Anne concurred, explaining how excited she was to shoot the pictures.

"We were so excited that EW was singling us out... for a magazine like EW to give us any kind of attention, it was really thrilling," Anne said.

Love & Other Drugs is set to be released in America on November 24th.
