George Clooney's ex-girlfriend has accused the Hollywood heart throb of ruining her sex life.

British TV presenter Lisa Snowden - who dated Clooney for five years - says she hasn't had sex in a year.

Men are too scared to ask her out, news website contact music reported Snowden as saying.

"I've been celibate for a year and starting to think I may never have sex again," she said.

"Men seem to look at me and think, 'She went out with George Clooney, what chance have I got?'"

But Snowden admitted Clooney taught her "a lot about life".

Clooney recently broke up with waitress Sarah Larson and is thought to be single.
