Drew Barrymore apparently wants to have a traditional wedding when she ties the knot with Will Kopelman.
The 36-year-old actress got engaged over the holidays and is ready to walk down the aisle for the third time.
But with two short-lived marriages behind her - to bar owner Jeremy Thomas when she was 19 and a union with comedian Tom Green that lasted less than a year - Barrymore is now ready to do things right, friends say.
"Drew will not elope or do something small," an insider told Us Weekly. "She wants a real wedding with a white dress.
"They're madly in love and she is drawn to Kopelman's close-knit family which she has never had. She's even considering converting to Judaism because she knows it's important to them."
Kopelman is also said to be a hit with Barrymore's inner circle, who believe she's made a great choice in her relationship with him.
"He is so sweet to her," a friend confided to In Touch. "He constantly tells her how amazing she is and how happy she makes him. All of her friends really love the way he treats her."
The relationship also has a seal of approval from Kopelman's mother, Coco.
"We're excited and thrilled!" she gushed to Life & Style magazine. "From the moment I met her [I loved her]. She's easy to be with, very sweet, very real."
Coco believes that Barrymore and Kopelman have an excellent relationship with each other.
"They're very cute together," she said. "They're very loving. It's just what a parent wants to see: their kid happy."
