A sex tape featuring legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan has surfaced, but the clip's leading man says he has no idea who his partner in the video is.

The wrester - whose real name is Terry Bollea - told TMZ that "he banged so many chicks after he left his ex-wife ... the woman could be one of MANY possible conquests".

He said he went on a four-month alcohol-fuelled bender after he left his ex-wife Linda and before he met his current wife Jennifer.

"During that time, I don't even remember people's names, much less girls," he said.

But the 58-year-old insists that he hasn't had sex with another woman since meeting his current wife, 36-year old Jennifer, five years ago.

Hogan said he had no idea who was selling the tape or how that person acquired it, but that his lawyers would prosecute anybody who would go forward with it.

TMZ reported they had seen a portion of the grainy footage, featuring Hogan getting undressed and a naked, unidentified brunette lying on a bed.

In the clip Hogan -- sporting a thong-shaped tan line -- pulls his shirt off and brags to his companion, "I started to work out again."

Hogan is a six-time WWF/WWE Champion, six-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and former WWE World Tag Team Champion. He announced last month he will bring his TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling) show to New Zealand.
