Katy Perry isn't impressed with Russell Brand's "mind games", it has been reported.

The songstress and comedian Brand are in the process of getting divorced following their split at the end of last year.

Brand gave a revealing interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently and Perry is said to be unhappy about his affectionate admissions.

"Katy thought they had agreed not to discuss their relationship anywhere. She's trying to move on and if Russell is playing mind games, Katy isn't impressed," a source told British magazine Closer.

"Apparently, he's been begging her to see him, but she doesn't think it's a good idea."

Brand gushed about his 14-month marriage last week.

"I still love her as a human being. But, sometimes when you're in a relationship I suppose it doesn't work out, does it? But that doesn't mean I regret it or anything," he said on the US talk show.

"I was very happy to be married with her. She's such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her."

Perry was thought to be enjoying a romance with Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, although it's claimed the pair are no longer an item.
