Rancics 'excited to meet little boy'

Giuliana Rancic can't wait to welcome her and husband Bill's little boy in late winter.

In April the couple announced that they were expecting a child via gestational surrogacy.

Giuliana and Bill Rancic hosted a lavish baby shower on Sunday where they revealed the gender of their unborn child to guests.

"We're so excited to meet our little boy, and this was the perfect beginning to his arrival," Giuliana told Life & Style the party.

The affair was luxurious and around 100 guests enjoyed delicious food and gorgeous scenery.

"Mindy Weiss planned the entire thing," a partygoer told the publication.

"Marks Gardens took care of the beautiful floral arrangements, and Paleta Catering made an amazing barbecue buffet. For dessert, everyone enjoyed cupcakes from Cupcake Couture and Sweet Lucie's ice cream and cake. Kids were invited, too."

The reality TV couple found it difficult to keep silent about the baby's gender to their family and friends.

"They kept it a secret from everyone until today; it was difficult," an insider revealed. "Especially for Bill, who has made a few slips!"
