Sarah Michelle Gellar is reportedly having a boy.
The 35-year-old actress and her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting their second child together, which will be a sibling for two-year-old Charlotte.
It's now been claimed the pair will welcome a little boy into the world later this year.
"Sarah was secretly hoping for a boy," a source told Star magazine. "She realises this will most likely be the last baby she has, so she's so happy she'll have the experience of raising one of each."
Prinze Jr., 36, is said to be delighted with the news. He is looking forward to introducing his son to traditionally male activities and hopes he will be a keen athlete.
"Freddie is incredibly pumped it's a boy," the insider added. "He can't wait to coach him in sports when he's older."
The happy couple haven't commented on the report yet.
Prinze Jr. has taken on many of the child-rearing duties recently, as Gellar has been shooting her TV show Ringer. He has enjoyed every moment of caring for Charlotte.
"He loves it. We fight over who gets to stay home," Gellar previously laughed.
"He's like, 'You stayed home for two years! It's my turn!'"
