Eva Longoria is going to have "Gabby withdrawal" now that Desperate Housewives has come to an end.
The 37-year-old actress played glamorous mother-and-wife Gabrielle Solis on the hit TV series, which recently ended after eight seasons.
She says she will miss playing the feisty character, as she got to play out some very dramatic storylines in the series.
"Gabby and I are exact opposites. I'm definitely going to have Gabby withdrawal," she smiled in an interview with the British edition of OK! magazine.
"It's always fun to play something or someone you're not as you get to explore feelings you wouldn't usually explore in life. Gabby always says and does things that people wish they could say and do, so I always find playing her really liberating."
Longoria is known for being outspoken and has her own charity The Eva Longoria Foundation that raises funds for Latina women and children. The considerate star is a fan of fellow philanthropist Angelina Jolie.
"I admire her. She does the work. She's not just a spokesperson, she is a hard worker and she gets it done," she gushed.
"She is authentically tied to the causes she cares about and she knows so much. She is so knowledgeable of the world situation, so everything I am an advocate for."
