Charlie Sheen and his ex-wife Denise Richards decided to host a birthday bash for Brooke Mueller.

The actor was married to both women in the past, calling it quits with Richards in 2006 and Mueller in 2011.

Mueller was arrested in Aspen, Colorado, last December and charged with felony drug possession and misdemeanour assault. She spent 12 weeks in the famous Cirque Lodge facility in Sundance, Utah, to battle her drug and alcohol addiction earlier this year.

To celebrate her birthday and sobriety, Sheen and Richards thought it fit to have a fun family function.

"Charlie and Denise decided to throw Brooke a birthday party in honour of her 35th birthday," a source told Radar Online.

"Charlie's kids with Denise, Sam and Lola, and his kids with Brooke, twins, Bob and Max, along with Richards' adopted daughter, Eloise will be in attendance."

Apparently Sheen, Richards and Mueller want to remain close knit for the sake of their family.

"Charlie, Denise, and Brooke all get along extremely well. They want what is best for their kids, and truly love and support each other," the insider previously told the website.
