Talk show host Kathie Lee Gifford says that rumours Taylor Swift crashed a Kennedy wedding over the weekend are "accurate".
The pop star was said to have arrived uninvited to Kyle Kennedy's wedding last Saturday with her new beau Conor.
Kyle's mother Vicki, who is the daughter of talk show host Gifford's husband Frank, said earlier this week that Taylor completely ignored her polite requests that the singer not come.
Wedding attendee Kathie Lee confirms Vicki's accusations.
"The truth is, Vicki, Frank's daughter's, account of what happened in Boston is accurate," she said on the Today show. "[Vicki] said to me as it was happening 'I'm really not happy about this.' [Vicki] asked [Taylor] to leave twice."
Earlier this week Vicki expressed her discontent about the situation.
"They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come,"
Vicki told the Boston Herald.
"I responded with a very clear, 'Please do not come.' They came anyway. I personally went up to Ms Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me."
