Madonna has won a court case over the publication of private photos of the pop star's wedding to her ex-husband Guy Ritchie in 2000.
London's High Court ruled in favour of Madonna, who is seeking $NZ13.9 million in damages after the photos were published in a British tabloid.
The only photographs taken of the wedding were by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, who gave them to Madonna as a personal gift.
Madonna kept them in an album at home, but they were copied by an interior designer, Robert Joseph Wilber.
The photos were then handed over to the Mail on Sunday on the day Madonna and Ritchie announced their split, and 11 of them were published.
The amount to be awarded will be decided next year.
