Geri Halliwell is reportedly smitten with her new lover Anton Kaszubowski.

The 40-year-old British singer is now romantically linked to the 39-year-old Russian gambling tycoon.

Apparently the pair met through friends and have been on several dates of late.

Since their introduction at Christmastime, Geri and Anton have enjoyed multiple dinners, visited Rome together and gone on a shooting date in England’s picturesque Berkshire region.

Geri’s friends are worried about the speediness of the affair.

“They hit it off instantly and are seeing a lot of each other,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.

“Anton’s just her type. He has friends in high places and loves shooting in the country.

“Geri’s typically rushing into it with guns blazing, saying, ‘He’s the gentleman that I’ve been waiting for.’ ”

Geri dated businessman Henry Beckwith for three years before they split.

She also enjoyed a brief romance with Katy Perry’s ex-husband Russell Brand last September.
