Only ill-health will stop a pregnant Beyonce from playing Coachella festival, TMZ reports.

The celebrity gossip website says sources backstage at Queen B's Grammys performance overheard her telling her production crew she would perform at the festival in April as long as she was healthy.

The singer, whose latest album Lemonade controversially missed out on the ceremony's Album of the Year award, announced last week that she was pregnant with twins.

At the Grammys, Beyonce reportedly told her team that even if she couldn't perform at Coachella they would be "compensated".

Another source told US Weekly Beyonce is currently in rehearsals for the California music festival.

Her pregnancy certainly didn't hold her back at the Grammys, where she performed Love Drought and Sandcastles from Lemonade.Although her usual dance moves were notably absent, the performance was for many the highlight of the show.

Beyonce picked up two wins at the ceremony: Best Video for Formation and Best Urban Contemporary Album for Lemonade.

It's still not publicly known how many months Beyonce has been pregnant for.
