Justin Bieber leaves NZ after a 200m adrenaline-inducing jump and a new tattoo
Justin Bieber has left New Zealand but not before a backwards leap of 200 metres over the Shotover River.
As he prepared to depart the country the Baby singer posted his jump on Queenstown's Canyon Swing to his Instagram page.
In it he is heard to mutter 'Jesus' before being pushed backwards into a 109m freefall, during which he calmly keeps his hands rested behind his head.
Bieber has been in Queenstown and Arrowtown since Sunday following his Purpose Auckland concert on the weekend.
He left aboard his private jet today with the next concert in his tour scheduled in Chile on Thursday.
During his stay he has visited bars and restaurants and delighted many locals.
On Tuesday night he shared video of him dancing with an older – much older – fan in a bar near Queenstown.
Sure, he was shirtless and she was a senior citizen, but it was a sweet moment as the grey-haired woman got a hug and a peck on the cheek from the Canadian heartthrob.
Bieber shared two clips of his night out in Arrowtown on Tuesday.
The Boyfriend singer was seen to be joking and laughing with the older group.
On a Monday night Bieber did what any Queenstown tourist does: he headed for Fergburger - but not for one of their legendary burgers but a gelato at their spin-off store Mrs Fergs.
One worker at the store said: "I didn't even recognise him. He's bleached all his hair and cut it."
Another staff member, who wasn't working when Bieber came in, said she was a "big fan" of his music. "I just don't think the girls should be screaming to be honest if he's on holiday in Queenstown," she said.
While here, already heavily tattooed Bieber, added fresh ink to his stomach - an eagle with spread wings.
