Miley Cyrus is known for being off-the-cuff, so it's no surprise that her latest interview for US Harper's Bazaar's October issue is full of hilarious, silly and truthful bits about the former Disney star's life.
Here are the six most interesting parts.
She Isn't Obsessed With Getting Rich and Famous
"My parents always had money, and I've always been around this industry, so I didn't have my mind blown or become obsessed with being famous. When I was growing up, I didn't even notice that I started making all this money. There's something about new money that makes people change. But I never did not have [money]. So when I got it, I didn't become obsessed with having it."
She Has Advice For Lindsay Lohan
"The other day I saw that Lindsay Lohan was getting rid of, like, 80 of her friends because she wants to cut out the toxic people. I'm like, 'Honey, you're going to have to move out of this universe because everywhere you go there are toxic people.'"
And Justin Bieber
"You're going to do dumb stuff from here on out. But do it in your own time. Do it safely. You can afford to protect yourself and still have fun."
Her House Is Party Central
The magazine reports that she had a skate ramp built in her backyard because she's "too famous to go to the skateparks in her neighbourhood." Miley added, "I want my house to be the party house!"
She Semi-Retired After Hannah Montana to Party
"I took off and I just wanted to party. I worked so hard, and I wanted to buy a house and just chill." She also bought a Maserati and moved out of her parents' house into a home with Liam Hemsworth.
She Learned How to Twerk From Dance-Offs
Miley tells the magazine that she learned how to twerk by watching parking-lot dance-offs in Atlanta with her girlfriends who are "not the country girls who are wearing the little frilled skirts and cowboy boots." She adds that she wants to create a new country niche: "There is no girl out there speaking on behalf of the country girls who are turnt up."
